JapanLabs

The Mad-Science Laboratory of the Japan-related Web

Ok. I'll jump first onto the chopping block.

What should I change about DailyJ and how?

I'm all ears to your opinions. And if you have instruction or helpful links that would be great too.

Ask others to makeover your blog too!

I'd use some nice graphic text in the header. The standard font looks too digitized. I'd keep the basic look the same and just add small features as you go.

thanks for the suggestion Billy.
I think it needs something like that.
I have been going for a Vitamin C feel to the site (orange).
Maybe I can find some graphics to make it look like a carton of orange juice labelled DailyJ

Nice idea!

The biggest, most handicapping feature of the Daily J is lack of navigation. If you're looking at one article, the only way to look at the previous of next article is to click "Home" then scroll down and find it that way, but even that only works with recent articles.

Great! You did it! How weird. I was using your new nav links... and then 5 minutes I realized, "He has nav links!!!" :)

Thanks for suggesting it to me, and more than once :)
Sometimes I am a little slow to react.

It definitely is a good improvement
